Hallo,

ich habe fürs Büro & für Lan Partys das Asus G1 Notebook
welches ein mini LCD Display besitzt.

Das Problem ist, dass man via Asus Direct Console nur einen Text dort hin machen kann, oder Datum und Uhrzeit.

Weiß jemand von euch wie ich dies umgehen kann und eigene Sachen (zb. System Infos usw.) dort hin machen kann.

Im Prinzip müsste das Display ja auch via Schnittstelle ansprechbar sein, wie ein Alphacool LCD Display.

Well, i know that the lcd has some usb kind of interface since on linux doing the lsusb the device is there. The direct console software is useless :S !!! so the lcd is useless too. It would be great to have for e.g. temps !

späte antwort, aber besser als keine. ich hab da ein stück quellcode in einem forum gefunden und der autor hat der verwendung in einem lcdhype treiber zugestimmt.

man, please do !! the lcd on the laptop is useless right know, it would be great to have temps or real time graphics running..

ok, here we go. copy to controller folder and choose asus g1 from controller dropdown in lcdhype. does it say "device found" and if yes, what is displayed. it should be random data.

since this approach doesnt work....i digged a bit for asus and lcd and i found a project called asusoled, its a g1 driver for linux.

i implemented the source in a test program, i am not very confident about it but perhaps it works

hi, i found out that perhaps the header size of the usb packet was wrong. please test this dll with lcdhype again. can you please make a picture from the output or ping me on icq. i think we will be faster this way.
