Hi There People
I've spoken with ViRuSTriNiTy a few months ago about an ideo of mine - port LCDHype for Linux (and why not other OSes). After a thorough discussion, he actually agreed and we've decided I'd do the job. The main issue is that LCDHype is very platform dependant and can not be easily recompiled for Linux. That's why I started to rewrite evreything but the drivers from scratch. The kernel parts are already pretty ready and stable - these are Parser/FileLoader/Driver Interface (all 100% compatible with the windows version of LCDHype) I then started implementing the functions present in LCDHype now. Thw work goes gut and is quite fast because the implementation now is very straightforward and trivial when decomposed well. At some point my obligations to the university made me stop work over the project for a few months but now I have time and desire to go ahead.
MY QUESTION TO YOU IS - ARE THERE PEOPLE HERE THAT CAN PROGRAM IN C/C++ AND SUCH THAT KNOW HOW QT WORKS TO DO THE UI DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION. IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE OVER THIS PROJECT. I WILL SET UP SOME VERSION SYSTEM ON SOURCEFORGE.NET OR GNA.ORG FOR YOU.
I hope we'll find some more people that have the knowhow and the desire to help to get this nice program work on as many platforms as possible
If there are any questions or remarks just post them here or send me a private message. I will answer as fully as possible.
