Had another Q.
5343STLDGYTN, I know the chipset is a Toshiba T6963C. But what is the wiring for it?

08      -> Data0              -> 2

10      -> /RD Data Read      -> 5 volt
11      -> /WR Data Write     -> 1
12      -> /CE Chip Enable    -> 14
13      -> /RESET             -> 5 volt
14      -> Vcc                -> 5 volt
15      -> Signal Ground      -> Ground
16      -> BottomLED -        -> Ground

This module does not require any other power supply for normal contrast. There is an adjustable pot on the back to adjust contrast.

not really. i have to extend the driver for compatibility with this size, but first wire the lcd and give a message if it works, you can use the 240x64 controller option.

Well, I don't have it yet. But I might just get order one on sunday.
So say, I get it and hook it up all correctly, and chose the 240 x 64, what will be the drawback of using that size or what problems could this cause?

So basically what you're saying is that I should not have any concerns about this display and should have no problems if its wired correctly? Just chose 240x64 as the closest option?

Do you have any idea what are the colors of that display?
  • Text color?
  • Background color with back light off?
  • Background color with back light on?

i think i will be black matrix chars with green led backlight.

sure, is there a program you can recommend? tongue.gif except paint and photoshop? Something with pre-drawn LPT ports and stuff?
